May 2016 Update

News & Updates:

- Come join us Sunday mornings as we go through the book of Acts.

- The guys in the church have started having a guy's night about once a month. So far they have watched Rocky, the NFL playoffs, gone bowling, & watched March Madness. Guys of all ages are welcome!

- VBS (Vacation Bible School)
          - The 2016 VBS theme is "Submerged: Finding Truth Below the Surface (Psalm 139:23-24)"
          - July 11th - 15th (Mon. - Fri.)

- Youth Camp
          - The 2016 SCBO Youth Camp theme is "Kindred (I John 1:7)"
          - July 25th - 29th (Mon. - Fri.)

               - If you register before May 25th - $155 (including a $30 deposit)
               - If you register after May 25th - $165 (including a $40 deposit)

- Recognition Sunday is May 15th

- The Ladies' April/May Birthday Celebration will be on Wednesday, May 25th before the evening service.

- Memorial Day Weekend
          - On Sunday, May 29th there will be a potluck following the morning service.
          - There will be NO evening service on the 29th.

Early 2016 Updates

News & Updates:

- Come join us Sunday mornings as the pastor preaches on Revelation. Sunday evenings at 6 PM the adults are studying Jeremiah, & the youth are studying Romans.

- Men's breakfast/Bible study has started back up. They meet at 8 AM Saturday mornings.

- The guys in the church have started having a guy's night once a month. So far they have watched Rocky & the NFL playoffs. Bowling or laser tag are some ideas for the next one.

- The youth are about halfway through the Bible Quiz season. Pray for them as they study God's Word.

- The College/Young Adult Bible Study has started back up for the semester. They meet at 9:15 on Thursday evenings. 

- Food Drive - During the month of February we will be collecting non-perishable food items to be given to The Morrison House. There will be a box in the hallway for your donations.

1/31 - Fifth Sunday Fellowship - Please bring a dish to share for our potluck after the morning service. There will NOT be an evening service.

2/19 - Valentine Banquet - The Babbs are performing.

3/26 - Resurrection Egg Hunt @ 10 AM
