Hello & Happy 2012! I sure hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas with your family and a very Happy New Year! I had the opportunity to attend an outstanding conference last week called: Indianapolis Christian Conference, or IndyCC for short. I was expecting to be blown away, and I indeed can tell you that I experienced God's love in a new way! I went with seven other friends, who are affiliated with Heidelberg. Long story short, after listening to numerous speakers, and worshiping with 2,000 other students, I have arrived home with a new outlook on my walk with God. The theme of the conference was, "God is greater than". I was reminded that God is greater than EVERYTHING! My fears, my future, my health, my family. He can and will use any circumstance to draw us closer to Him. I am encouraged and hope to serve God with the best I can, especially in this new year. I am pleased to tell you that SEVEN students committed their lives to God this past week. I ask that you pray for them, and that they genuinely asked God into their lives. Also pray that they can find a church back home, and that they are blessed with support through family and friends. Before I close, I also wanted to share with you that one of the days during IndyCC was dedicated to doing "outreach" work in the less fortunate part of the community. I was able to pray for a woman whose husband is crippled. She shared with me that she is unable to attend church, but likes to watch it on television. Please pray for her, and her family-she does have children. Ask that God would protect and bless her family, and if it's His will, that He would heal her husband. i am asking for prayer and help no one know all been going on our life except the lord tony been laid off fr two yrs no income just mine we have got a extra person and thing r getting really bad i keep prayer but by this fri i need to come up w 650 dollars if not we cant keep the house i keep praying i know it will happen i am not one to ask for help but i need it bad i pary that soem can help till after we do income taxes and tony trying for ged on feb 14 i pray he passes so he can find a job thak u love and bless u all helen morrow
